The team has begun negotiations with the University of Kansas for the development of the Gateway District, which encompasses the transformation of David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium and the area along 11th and Mississippi streets.
Edgemoor previously completed the Central District Development at the University. “Our team brings a level of familiarity with the campus and community and a personal commitment to KU that will undoubtedly benefit this process as we move forward,” said Edgemoor’s Senior Managing Director, Geoff Stricker. “The Gateway District represents an exceptional opportunity for KU and the surrounding region, and we’re working together to develop creative solutions to finance and deliver this project to the benefit of everyone involved.”
