On October 24th, Edgemoor’s projects and people were recognized across several categories at the annual P3 Bulletin Awards ceremony in New York City, which honors P3 achievements throughout the Americas.
Edgemoor’s University of Nevada, Reno, Mathewson Gateway Project was recognized as the Best Education and Higher Education Project.
The judges stated, "Achieving commercial and financial close within 12 months highlights strong project management and stakeholder coordination, aligning with university goals and community expectations. The project’s sustainability focus and significant impact on the community are commendable," adding that the project "exemplifies innovation in P3 projects."
The Kansas City International Airport New Terminal Modernization Project won the Social Impact Award, a new category at this year's event.
Judges noted that the project "significantly benefits the community, exceeding goals in workforce development and minority business engagement," and praised its role in fostering local economic growth and inclusivity.
Edgemoor was also Highly Commended in the Sponsor/Developer of the Year Category, and Senior Development Manager Ginny Dobesh was Highly Commended in the Leading Woman in Infrastructure category for her contributions to the $1.5B Kansas City International Airport New Terminal.
